In less than six months, Nordic, part of the Nordic Collection group, marks its sixth acquisition with the integration of the Norway specialist Norske. This strategic move strengthens Nordic’s position as the market leader in the sale of Hurtigruten sea voyages in the Netherlands.
Travel organization Nordic continues their expansion in Europe as they enter the French market. Following the acquisition of Askja Reizen in the Dutch market earlier this month, Nordic has acquired the French company Nord Espaces. In addition to this new acquisition, Nordic also becomes co-owner of the lodges of Explore the North.
Nordic, a specialist in travel to Scandinavia, has just announced the acquisition of Askja Reizen. This acquisition fits into Nordic’s goal to further diversify and expand its range of travel options, offering enthusiasts of the High North even more opportunities to experience an authentic journey in Scandinavia. Alongside Askja Reizen, Nordic Collection, the overarching brand for Nordic, is also taking over VNC Asia Travel and welcomes the Icelandic company Go North as a new partner.
Nordic Collection, one of the leading travel companies in Belgium and the Netherlands, received the Travelife Certified Award as the tenth company in Belgium. On top of that the Scandinavian sister brand Nordic was awarded as the 35th company in the Netherlands as well as as the 8th company in Germany yesterday. The award recognises Nordic Collection’s long-term efforts and leadership in sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility.
After the official launch in July 2022, Nordic is further expanding their offer for Germany. The existing range of winter tours to Lapland is now followed by the new summer trips for 2023. With a well-chosen selection of trips to the south of Sweden and Norway, the market leader in Belgium is now also kicking off the summer season in Germany.
