We are always looking for guides for our group trips. Do you get energised by people and enjoy sharing your experiences and tips with others? If you see yourself guiding a group from A to Z to make their travel adventure the best it can be, you might want to become a travel guide at Nordic Collection!
In a nutshell:
- You will welcome travellers at the airport and ensure everyone is checked in and boarded.
- You check travellers in and out of their accommodation and resolve any problems.
- You are the point of contact for travellers in case of problems or complaints.
- You make sure everyone knows the schedule and is always with you.
- Addition guide:
- Depending on your expertise on local culture and traditions, wildlife and flora, history, photography, gastronomy, etc.: You provide information en route or during excursions. Possibly you will also guide yourself during walks, if you have sufficient knowledge.
Who you are:
- You have a great sense of responsibility.
- You can manage a group and give direction. In doing so, you communicate clearly and in a structured way.
- You are flexible and strong in ad hoc problem solving.
- You enjoy helping and supporting people.
- For you, enthusing and connecting a group is child’s play.
- Addition guide:
- You have great expert knowledge of a particular destination or about a particular subject (fauna and flaura, local culture, history,…).
- You are very strong in translating your expertise clearly and enthusiastically to a large group.
- Diploma or experience as a guide is recommended.
